Overview
StoneTree® is a precast concrete fence wall system manufactured under regional license by East Coast Precast. Unlike traditional CMU screen walls or wood privacy fencing, StoneTree panels deliver the visual character of natural stone, block, brick, or wood plank in a single-source engineered concrete panel.
The system is a post-and-panel assembly — steel-reinforced concrete H-columns set into concrete foundations, with concrete infill panels that slide down between the columns from above. Once seated, the wall is structurally continuous, weather-tight at every joint, and finished on the face (or both faces) with the specified texture.
Configurations
- Standard heights: 6', 8', 10', and 12'; custom heights on request.
- Panel widths: 8' or 12' typical between columns.
- Face configuration: single-sided finish (one face textured, one face smooth) or double-sided finish (both faces textured — matched or contrasting patterns).
- Column height: matched to panel height plus embedment; column tops finished flush or with decorative cap.
- Foundation: cast-in-place concrete pier per column, sized to soil bearing and wall height.
- Segments: straight runs, 90° corners, gate openings, and radius sections available.
Finish options
- Fieldstone: irregular, natural-stone appearance with deep relief and mortar joint detailing.
- Dry-stack ledgestone: tight-jointed horizontal stone courses; contemporary but organic.
- Wood plank: board-and-plank texture cast into the panel — visually reads as a heavy timber fence, structurally reads as concrete.
- Brick veneer look: full brick pattern and mortar joints in the cast finish.
- Ashlar: squared, dressed-stone coursing.
- Custom form-liner: project-specific patterns for HOAs, developers, or municipal signature walls.
- Color: integral pigment, applied stain, or exterior masonry paint depending on specification.
Structural notes
The engineered post-and-panel system carries wind, impact, and lateral loading through the reinforced H-columns, which are foundation-anchored into cast-in-place concrete piers.
- Posts are steel-reinforced precast concrete H-columns with paired vertical channels for panel seating.
- Panels are cast with tongue edges sized to slide between the column channels; no fasteners required at the panel-to-post joint.
- Wall load path: panel transfers wind and impact into columns, columns into foundation piers, piers into soil.
- System is engineered for standard exposure category wind loads; custom engineering available for higher wind zones or specific impact ratings.
- Installation is faster and produces less debris than site-poured concrete walls or CMU masonry — no wet trades, no mortar, no long cure hold before finishing.

Installation
Installations are typically completed in a fraction of the time of a comparable masonry wall. Panels are set by crane from flatbed trucks; a typical residential-scale run of 150–200 linear feet can be set in a single day by a two-person crew.
Site prep sequence is straightforward: excavate pier locations, pour cast-in-place foundation piers to a set schedule, and once the piers have cured, deliver and set the columns and panels. Once the last panel is dropped, the wall is finished — no mortar cure, no plaster coat, no weather delay.
Longevity
Concrete construction eliminates the rot, insect damage, and finish deterioration common to wood fencing. There is no annual staining, no board replacement, no post-line settlement to chase down every few seasons.
Painted or stained finishes on the concrete substrate carry standard exterior masonry paint warranties — typically 15 to 25 years depending on the coating specified. Integral-color panels effectively never fade, since the color is throughout the concrete rather than a surface layer.
